Tony Hassler was born in Milan in 1962 and starting even from his early years, he endeavored to transform his interests and passions - aesthetics, art and communication into professional opportunities.
His passion for photography commenced as a teenager, in 1980 his first photojournalism report on the earthquake in Irpinia, a few months later, his first trip to India. Since then, he has become a tireless discoverer and the enthusiasm and curiosity to explore has never left him; he transmits dynamic emotions in his shots, the result of his search for the taste of life at another speed.
His work, published in numerous magazines, tells the stories of the lands and people of the world.
Before turning professional, he explored alternative careers which has allowed him to grasp unusual perspectives and to approach his subjects with an innate empathy, the result of a philosophy lived even before thought.
He has practiced extreme sports and cultivated a passion for art, design and jazz music, merging his stimuli into photographic elements that have never given way to a professional's disenchantment.
To label him a "photographer" is an understatement: free spirit in a cosmopolitan soul, Tony has been able to combine the taste of discovery with a purely metropolitan style.
He is also dedicated to teaching the dissemination of photographic language. During his lessons and discussions, he manages to draw unusual creative ideas from the relationship with his students and audience. Constantly in search of new stimuli, Tony has not neglected post-production techniques, realizing fruitful collaborations with professional colleagues as well as with visual artists, who have created artworks based on his shots.
This art that generates art is, perhaps, his greatest satisfaction!
